Hair loss treatment
Injection fat cell removal, cellulite treatment
Medical mesotherapy at the Korda Clinic
Mesotherapy is an extremely fast-growing, deservedly popular treatment worldwide. The secret of its success is that it can treat a wide range of skin problems effectively, painlessly and with a short recovery time, using a high intake of active ingredients. Another big advantage of medical mesotherapy treatments is that they only work on the skin, so there are no risky side effects on the body.
In Szeged, at the Korda Clinic, Dr. Balázs Keresztes has decades of experience in helping his patients with medical mesotherapy, whether it be hair loss treatment, injectable fat cell removal or cellulite treatment.
About the services
Hair loss treatment
Hair loss in men and women is a phenomenon that goes back as far as mankind itself, not because of some mystical or airborne disease, but because of the DHT (di-hydrotestosterone) hormone that is produced in the scalp of both men and women.
This hormone initially suppresses the functions of our hair follicles, then suppresses them. This process takes a few years, but in some patients it can take up to 20-25 years.
This can cause severe hair loss or insidious shedding. Initially, thinning may be felt on the top of the head and, in women, on the temples and back of the head. Hair loss is also exacerbated by cortisol, a 'stress hormone' produced in the adrenal glands, and therefore severe hair loss can be a common accompanying symptom of psychological and physical trauma. Hair loss is a common result of coronavirus infection, which is also a consequence of elevated cortisol levels.
This is a natural process affecting 100% in men and about 80-90% in women. In men it signals the end of the "senior" status, in women it signals the end of the conception period with the decline in estrogen levels. However, the rise in average age and changes in dressing habits have brought the demand to appear with a lush head of hair even at an older age.
The solution to this situation is hair loss treatment with medical mesotherapy.
At the Korda Clinic in Szeged, Dr. Balázs Keresztes' decades of experience ensure that this procedure can stop hair loss in about 90% patients and often even restore part of the old hair crown.
Attention: new hair on a bald scalp will not grow with this treatment, but in the vast majority of cases, the situation will normalise and the hair structure will be preserved after the procedure.
In his medical mesotherapy practice, he uses a proprietary and patented DHT blocking solution that is 15x more concentrated than other commercially available drugs.
Unfortunately, in 5% cases (e.g. in cases of extreme DHT or testosterone sensitivity), the above safe, non-systemic, topical method cannot save the patient's hair.
What will happen and how?
During the procedure, Dr. Keresztes Balázs injects a DHT synthesis blocking drug (duta-steride) into the patient's scalp, which stops the process of DHT synthesis and saves the still living hair follicles from dying. As a result of the treatment, hair loss is normalised in the vast majority of cases, hair structure is preserved and there is a high chance of spectacular hair strengthening.
The drug that blocks DHT synthesis takes around 3 months to take effect, after which the treatment must be repeated to protect the living hair follicles. Duta-steride is administered into the scalp by tiny injections with a thin needle at a depth of 1 mm. With this technique, the drug has no systemic effect and only acts locally in the scalp.
The treatment takes 5-10 minutes and involves minimal discomfort.
Injection fat cell removal, cellulite treatment
There are two types of procedures for the safe and permanent removal of adipose tissue: liposuction and injectable liposuction. While liposuction involves the mechanical destruction and removal of fat pads, injectable liposuction is a biochemical process.
During the treatment, a hair-thin needle is used to inject a bile acid-containing active ingredient, which destroys fatty tissue in the abdomen, upper arms and thighs.
In addition to the medical procedures listed above, there are also a number of techniques performed in beauty salons, which are aimed more at reducing the size of fat cells. However, after the treatments, the artificially "squeezed" fat cells are reabsorbed over time, so the effectiveness of such fat treatments is almost nil in the medium to long term.
The most effective medical technique is the use of bile acid by injection to dissolve the fat cell membrane and destroy the cell. Scientific studies have shown that in the weeks following the procedure, the fat cells are destroyed and their number decreases. Since these cells are unable to reproduce, their destruction is permanent. This procedure also has a limited ability to shrink fat glands (lipomas) and can be used to remove approximately 30-50% of existing lipomas.
What will happen and how?
Fat cell destruction by injection involves using a 12 mm long, hair-thin needle to inject a bile acid-containing agent into the skin to destroy fat cells, which destroys the treated fat tissue, whether it is ordinary abdominal fat, a buttock or thickening on the upper arms or thighs.
The 4 mm long "ginoid lipodystrophy", or cellulite medical mesotherapy treatment, is used to diffuse the active ingredient under the skin. In most cases, after 2-3 treatments, an average cellulite can disappear completely. There should be a break of at least 1.5-2 months between treatments on the same area of skin.
This procedure is a biologically permanent solution, as it will leave the damaged cellulite smooth forever.
With this treatment, you can get rid of unwanted fat permanently, painlessly and with a short recovery time. Another big advantage of this procedure is that it only works on the skin, so there are no risky side effects on your body.
In summary, the efficiency of injectable fat cell irradiation is close to 90-95%, but there is no guarantee of a result of 100%, as results may vary from individual to individual. As with any treatment, it may not be possible to solve a case. For example, a hanging skin, a more connective tissue structure, or other situations may be responsible for the deformity, rather than fatty tissue!
During the pre-treatment discussion, these can be assessed and it is possible to plan in advance what to expect during the treatment, whether it makes sense to start fat cell destruction at all or not.
Attention!
Liposuction treatments (i.e. liposuction and injectable liposuction) are NOT suitable for weight loss! Weight loss can only and exclusively be achieved by changing your lifestyle, reducing your carbohydrate intake and introducing regular exercise.
