Occupation Health Care at the Korda Clinic
The primary aim of the occupational health examination is to prevent work-related ill health. In addition, the occupational doctor administers the compulsory vaccinations, prescribes the necessary medical treatment and carries out the driver fitness tests and any managerial screening.
All new employees should be required to undergo a medical check-up, but this is often not done. Even more often, the employee only sees a doctor for these mandatory examinations throughout the year. This makes the responsibility of the company doctor even greater, since only he is in a position to diagnose the latent illnesses of such workers.
If you place your trust in the Korda Clinic, our experienced staff will provide both parties with satisfactory and thorough occupational health care.
About the treatments
Health check
Health is a great treasure that we must preserve. And regular health checks are the key to staying healthy, and have become part of a modern, health-conscious lifestyle. Many illnesses can be detected and prevented if we have a thorough annual health check-up. The beginning of the year, at the start of spring, is the best time to take part in a comprehensive health check and take care of your health. At the Korda Clinic, there is no queuing, at an appointment (usually at 7.00 am), staff with over 30 years of professional experience will help you to stay healthy.

Validation of driving licence (preliminary, periodic)
The medical fitness test for driving is a series of tests designed to screen out those who are unfit to drive for any reason. The medical certificate proves that the driver is or remains fit to drive safely and not endanger others. If the medical certificate is missing, a driving licence cannot be issued even if the test is passed. The medical fitness test for the licence is by appointment at the Korda Clinic, with a set fee, which may vary depending on age and category of licence.
What should you bring with you to the medical fitness test?
- an identity card;
- an address card;
- your existing driving licence;
- glasses or contact lenses;
- a specialist medical opinion, if necessary.
What tests are performed at the medical fitness test?
- measurement of blood pressure;
- general health issues;
- ophthalmic, colour vision tests, which are much more stringent for categories C and D;
It is important to know that in the case of certain chronic illnesses, a specialist medical opinion is required before a medical certificate can be issued.

Organisation of first aid courses for employers
According to the legislation (XCIII. 1993. évi XCIII. Tv. Article 46 on occupational health and safety and Joint Decree 3/2002 (8.II.) SzCsM-EüM), employees designated to provide first aid at the workplace must receive refresher training of at least two hours' duration at least every two years.
During our training, you will fully acquire the skills you need in the event of an accident at work. We focus on the practical basics, but we also give you the theoretical knowledge.
We teach easy-to-learn, practical and life-saving skills on our workplace first aid course, so that when trouble strikes, competent people can help each other.
Instruction is given in groups of 5-10 students, and after 3×2 theory and practice lessons, the course ends with a theory and practice exam. A certificate of successful completion will be issued. It is recommended to appoint an employee who is a "stable worker", capable and practical.
