- Description
Preanalytical information: Fasting blood sampling after 12 hours of fasting is recommended.
The Manager basic package provides information on the general condition of the body, the functioning of the haematopoietic system, carbohydrate, protein, muscle and fat metabolism, liver, pancreas and kidney function, thyroid function, and also includes tests to detect anaemia and various iron deficiency conditions. It provides information on possible inflammatory processes in the body and the physiological effects of increased stress. The haemoglobin A1c value is proportional to the blood glucose level over the last 3 months, so that information is provided on the average glucose level over this period. Vitamin B, vitamin D and folic acid are measured to obtain information on the body's vitamin intake. The package also includes a urine general and sediment test.

- Description
Pre-analytical information: Avoid eating, drinking and smoking for at least 4 hours before the sample is taken, and stop taking stomach medications (proton pump inhibitors) 2 weeks before the test. Antacids should not be used 1 day before the test.
The faecal sample should be sent to the laboratory within 24 hours (during which time it should be kept at room temperature) or, if this is not possible, frozen. In addition to the tests in the Manager Premium Plus Men's Package, our Manager Premium Plus Men's Package provides information on the levels of tumour markers that are elevated in the most commonly affecting men - liver, stomach, colon, lung, prostate, testicular - tumours.
